Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a Zombie? Nathan Abercrombie does. At first he’s an unpopular asthmatic vidiot loser in middle school. His day couldn’t get any worse until he meets Abigail, a quiet but genius girl. Then he meets her uncle Zardo that accidently splashes him with Hurt Begone. Later, Nathan starts getting strange abilities like not having to eat or sleep. Will he find a cure with his best friend Mookie and his new friend Abigail, or will he be a half dead zombie forever?
“My rotten life” is a very good book. The opening sentence grabs you and the rest is fantastic. It is also very funny. David Lubar uses puns and is very funny. This book isn’t very realistic but I don’t care. Over all I enjoyed this book. The story line and the way the author wrote it is very good. I would give this book a 9 out of 10.
